Standard Rights for Photography Students

Students in courses get a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal learning and portfolio use only; images cannot be sold or used commercially. 

Commercial and Extended Rights

Extended rights for business use, such as marketing or products, require separate agreements with royalties or buyouts based on usage scope (e.g., print run, duration). Photographer, Himshikha Bansal retains full copyright, ensuring control over modifications or derivatives.

For any photographic work involving minors under 18 years old, Himshikha Bansal Photography requires a signed model release form from a parent or legal guardian. This release grants permission for the use of the minor's image for agreed purposes such as promotional materials, website display, social media, and educational content.

The parent or guardian retains the right to review and approve any public use of the minor's photographs. If consent is withdrawn, the photographer will cease usage of the images in future promotions and remove images from accessible platforms where possible.

No images of minors will be sold or used commercially without explicit parental authorization outlined in the release. The release form must be completed prior to photography sessions involving minors to ensure compliance with legal requirements and protection of minors' rights.

All commercial use without a valid license is prohibited and may result in legal action. The photographer retains copyright ownership and reserves the right to limit or revoke licenses as needed.
